If you're anything like me, your name is John and you're six feet tall. Also, your personal recipe collection is probably a mess--a mishmash of word docs, revised clippings and scraps of paper. Now you can have all of your recipes in one spot, and easily e-mail them to friends.

Since its creation in 2004, literally hundreds of chefs have worked their culinary prowess in ways large and small at the Chance Beach House. So we decided to create a database where all of us could compile, share (and easily e-mail) our favorite recipes. Whether your own or a link to someone eles's.

Also, a cookbook featuring the best house recipes--those stellar dishes and cocktails that really effing wowed--is in the works. Any recipes chosen for the cookbook, and their expository text, will be submitted to chefs for full review. You will be fully attributed.

We've lost touch with a lot of former house members and guests, so if you have a connection to the house, and you'd like to be a part of Chance Recipes, please contact us and we'll set you up with a free chef's account.
